Bread + Puppet Theater Apocalypse Road Show Poster

Bread + Puppet Press printed these 18 x 24 inch letterpress posters for our exhibit of Garrett MacLean’s photographs which documented Bread and Puppet’s traveling COVID show ‘Apocalypse Defiance.’ For more than three months, through 32 states, and 79 shows he photographed the experience of strange and apocalyptic times through the lens of Bread and Puppet Theater. This is a letterpress poster of hand set type and a masonite cut by Peter Schumann, printed on their Vandercook SP20. They are a numbered edition of 240.
